There are so many people who are more than willing to offer their two cents even if they've never had any sort of childcare experience. But you're absolutely right--all of those jobs have downsides but they come with so many rewards (not that I'm a mom or anything). :PLiz Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15823595869843889438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7894299613938319589.post-33652981348943588592015-12-09T09:24:14.561-08:002015-12-09T09:24:14.561-08:00Oh yes, we are very deadly. If I were you, I would totally listen to him. ;) But yeah, it's no fun getting irrelevant unsolicited advice from people who haven't had much experience with writing, if any.

Thanks! Because my mom deals with some of this stuff (and doesn't like some of it, either). But, I think as Alyssa said, whether you are a writer, housekeeper, or mom, you will have good times and bad times and though you are making up a lot of stuff because you are not an expert, you will still have rewards. :DHeatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16797485444727976121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7894299613938319589.post-58899067528008461562015-10-31T03:03:52.376-07:002015-10-31T03:03:52.376-07:00Housekeepers and writers can both murder. And I love your point about advice -- it's not so much whether you read writing advice (because it's everywhere), but rather whether you can differentiate between the good and bad ones as well as accept the necessary advice. Lovely sequel to your earlier post!Alyssa Carlierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995554896786109238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7894299613938319589.post-10503479124467473642015-10-30T03:43:47.605-07:002015-10-30T03:43:47.605-07:00Hahaha, remind me to never make the housekeepers a...Hahaha, remind me to never make the housekeepers angry. I like not being plotted against (except when I can plot back, and then it's fun). And I totally agree with you about the judgements thing. I get people giving me advice when they've never written more than a chapter in their life (*cough* my brother *cough* (he once told me that I posted too much, so I should change to 2-3 posts a day. Because logic.)) and it's just one of those times when you have to let it go. Good luck with packing! Thinking like different characters and having to switch to different POV's has given me the ability to think like my customers (in some respects). Thanks for the great post! I always think it's really cool when we can draw inspiration from real life for our writing. R.M. Lutzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07225038858127086583noreply@blogger.com
